Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of StoryReels, a software-as-a-service platform for AI-powered short-form video creation, owned and operated by First Run Press LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Michigan, United States (EIN 41-3107724), with its principal office in Michigan, USA ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using StoryReels, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

StoryReels is a hosted platform that helps real estate educators and content creators automatically generate short-form videos using artificial intelligence — including script generation, image generation, voice synthesis, and multi-platform publishing to services such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. The Service integrates with TikTok via TikTok's official Login Kit, Content Posting API, and Webhooks under the developer terms of ByteDance Ltd.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration

To access StoryReels you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Third-Party Account Authorization

StoryReels connects to third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) using their official OAuth authorization flows. By authorizing StoryReels to access one of these accounts:

• You represent that you own or are legally authorized to manage the connected account.
• You grant StoryReels permission to publish content to the connected account on your behalf, only as directed by you through the Service.
• You may revoke this permission at any time via your third-party account settings or by disconnecting the integration inside StoryReels.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or generate through the Service ("User Content"), including your source materials (books, notes, scripts) and the videos produced from them. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use StoryReels to:

• Publish content that violates the terms of service or community guidelines of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or any other connected platform.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
• Publish spam, malware, or unlawful content of any kind.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical restriction of the Service.
• Use the Service to abuse or exceed rate limits of any connected third-party platform.

7. Fees

StoryReels is currently in private beta and offered free of charge to early access users. Once general availability begins, pricing will be published on this website and existing users will be notified before any charges apply.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service (including the interface, source code, machine learning models, brand, and documentation) is the property of First Run Press LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted to you except as expressly stated in these Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination we will delete your User Content and third-party access tokens within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or specific results (including views, followers, or revenue) from published content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, First Run Press LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) if no fees were paid.

12. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be notified via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
